La Bourrine du Bois Juquaud in Saint Hilaire de Riez is an authentic group of reed-covered earthen buildings, a reminder of life in the Marais Breton Vendéen at the beginning of the 20th century.
The site includes the bourrine and numerous outbuildings. The complex is located on the edge of the Marais Breton Vendéen, on a dune belt with preserved vegetation. The multimedia area (exhibition and projection rooms, interactive terminals) completes this privileged place and enables visitors to better appreciate Hilairo’s heritage.
